Enchanted Kingdom 2017

'

The last time I was in Enchanted Kingdom was year 2006, they've added more rides and it was impressive. 

I didn't know that they change the rates already. :( They didn't have the entrance fee only (for those who will not ride a single attraction) which make it more expensive. 

Anyway, we tried Agila and it is perfect for the kids and also to those people who loves to travel. 

SM Aura: NBA Cafe

I've really wanted to go NBA Cafe Manila ever since KrisTV featured them, but I didn't have any chance.

This time my family and I tried it. It was a different dining experience. I am no longer a basketball fan but my father will be a forever fan. 

Concept

From the word itself NBA Cafe Manila. I heard they have franchised (I don't know how you call it) the name or trademark or copyright? I think that is the main reason why the food is pricey than it should be. I really like the idea of wide screen television for watching basketball near the bar. Also, they have one television per table, you may choose NBA or Sports News. It would be a nice experience if you are watching the new season or the championship(which is not yet open during our dine).

Food

We ordered the set meal, I wasn't able

to take photos because I went out to fetch my aunt from St. Lukes and when I got back they are already starting to eat.

Here are the foods included in their set meal:

2 bowls of coleslaw

Beer Battered Fish and chips

2 Lemon Brined roasted chicken (2 chicken per plate)

A Huge plate of Penne Pasta

5 Glasses of Soda ( with one time refill) or Iced Tea.

I personally like the beer battered fish, super yummy and also the chicken is very tender and I really love the flavors. 

Penne pasta is not what I am expecting for since I am very used to Penne pasta of Banapple. Their Penne in NBA cafe is very Italian for me. 

Ambiance

I think the ambiance will depend on where will you sit and if it is the NBA season. 

Restaurant Cleanliness

I will give them a two thumbs up for cleanliness. Even the restrooms are clean and smells good. 

Service

The servers are kind, attentive and also friendly. At first my dad doesn't want to sit where we were because it's too far from the bar where the servers are. But mind you they always get back to you if you needed anything. 

I will go back here to try the ala carte meals, and also I want to try their desserts. But as for now I will wait until the season is open.

Teacher's Village: Pino Kitchen Studio Inc.

 

Pino is a vegetarian friendly restaurant. 

They have a menu for vegetarian and also the mix vegetables and meat. 

Actually this is my second time to try Pino. My first is posted in Tourist Guide for a Weekend Blog. But my bad, I wasn't able to take photos of Pino and their food. So this time this is it! 

If you have been reading my blog from the very beginning. My family and I really loves our own food, Filipino Cuisine. 

Their menus are available in Zomato. They have a lot of food to choose from.

So, let's start with my review. 

Concept

I like how their concept goes, simple dining experience. As I've said they offer Vegetarian Menu, Mixed, Unique Pino Beers, and Desserts. You would think that the place is small but they actually have more tables and chairs at the back. But no AC just fan. Like a backyard session with beers. 

Ambiance

The ambiance in Pino backyard is very homey. With tables and stools and your beer or your food. It is great and I've tried it because the first time we went their the restaurant is full and we are hungry that's why we chose to eat in the backyard.

This time I tried to eat inside, I like it more because you know here in the Philippines the weather is humid. But they did not overdone the AC. And I super like it! 

Food 

I know, I know this is the part you are waiting for. 

We ordered Sisig Rice.

For Pino this is good for 1 person only. As the name said this sisig comes with rice. But since we need to make a room for desserts we share and also their servings are big for 1 person. 

We did not regret ordering their Sisig! Not too spicy and salty. I like the mayo on top of it, really compliments the Sisig.

Next is Molo Miso Soup.

This is only a sample photo. Actually the soup is only good for 2 but we requested to divide it by 3. I am not into Miso soup but I like Molo that's why it is just enough for us three. 

Next? Kare-Kareng Bagnet 

I really love Kare-Kare and this will be my favorite food in all Filipino Restaurants. 

Pino's Kare Kare is so perfect! I like the consistency of the sauce and it is fine. I don't like Kare-Kare with bits of peanuts. The photo above is a Kare-Kare good for 1 person only it is served with Bagoong Rice.

You should try their Pino Iced Tea, one of the best iced tea!! 

Restaurant Cleanliness

The restaurant is clean, I could'nt ask for more. Even if they only have 1 cubicle each in their restrooms they still manage to make it clean. 

Service 

I would rate their service 4 stars out of 5 because I know they can still have improvements. And I am thankful that our server suggest what to do since we want to minimize our order to make room for dessert. He suggests to divide the soup equally. And I really appriceate it. And also all servers are very approachable. 

I will definitely go back here! It is now one of my favorite Restaurant! ❤️❤️❤️

P.S.: Since I kept mentioning that we need room in our tummy for desserts we went to my favorite MilkShake Shop in Maginhawa "A Taste of Heaven". Very authentic ice cream! They have ice cream machine inside the basic ingredient is the soft srved vanilla ice cream. Okay okay. Writing this make me drool!! 

My favorite of all their yummy flavors would be Salted Caramel! Everytime I drop by to Maginhawa I will always go here for dessert to try all their flavors. I will not stop untill I finish all the flavors here. Lol! 

 

A guide for visiting Regina Rosarii Tanay Rizal

Last Independence day we went to Regina Rosarii, Tanay Rizal to spend some quality time with my mother and for Mama Mary. 

I don't know how we got there but we used Waze. It will help you a lot.

Here are the things to do or expect in Regina Rica:

1. Schedule 

Regina Rosarii is open everyday except Tuesdays, 8am-5pm.

2. Respect the Dress Code

You cannot enter Regina Rosarii if you are wearing Sando or anything sleeveless. If you are wearing a shorts or a short skirt they will lend you a long skirt. 

Please be reminded that Regina Rica (Rosarii) is manage by the Dominican Sisters. 

3. Bring water and food AND UMBRELLA. 

It is a long drive from Metro Manila, you can bring your own or you can also stop by Robinsons Antipolo to buy stuff or rest. It is better if you have a water with you, I'm pretty sure you will get tired and thirsty with all the walking in Regina Rica. They sell drinks and food in there but it is not that cold. 

4. Bring extra clothes and towel.

Again, with all the walking and heat in the Philippines your shirt will be soaking. That's for sure. 

5. Parking Fee 

Although Regina Rica is known for Pilgrimage area, they still need to have an income for maintenance of the property. So for the parking fee It's just Php50 only and it is a fixed rate parking fee. Not bad if you want to stay there for the whole day or stay the night isn't it? Plus they will give you a paper to write your wishes and intentions.

6. There is a restaurant inside Regina Rica

(Dalayunan eating place).

We really wanted to try to eat inside Dalayunan but unfortunately we are chasing the dusk. It will take 3-4 hours drive from Tanay to Q.C. And vise versa. 

7. They have available accommodation.

If you want to spend the night in Regina Rosarii you may ask the helpers in Roca House or Puloyan.

8. Take the S-Trail going up to Mama Regina Rosarii.

If you are willing and able to walk the S-Trail, go for it! It will be worth it!

9. If you cannot walk through the S-Trail 

If you are with a Senior Citizen or a child, you may take a shuttle going up to Mama Regina for only Php5.00 each. 

10. Candle Offering and Wishes. 

You may choose different colors for your wishes.  

Each candle costs Php20.00. For a pack of 5's Php100.00. Pack of 6's Php120.00 and for Pack of 11's Php220.00

     Each pack contains prayer guide.

11. Walking at the Labyrinth 

Another type of prayer, a prayer in motion or walking through a step/s. A guide is included in the pack of candles.

12. Below Mama Regina 

There is a sister waiting below Mama Regina for a briefing before going up inside Mama Regina. And also small talk for relaxation. 

13. SULOD (Sanctuary of the Universal LO and Devotion). 

Basically, Sulod in Ilonggo is Go inside, to go inside. 

Before going inside Mama Regina or Sulod. You should take off your shoes or slippers. They will provide you a bag to stuff your footwears. 

Since this is a Sanctuary please observe silence and photo taking is not permitted inside Sulod. You need to concentrate and feel the positive energy headed by a Dominican sister. 

14. Once you are done in SULOD.

Have a photo op in Mama Regina's terrace, where you can see the whole Regina Rica.

15. Visit the Rica Chapel

You may ride the shuttle going to the Rica Chapel or walk. It's just a 5 minutes walk from Mama Regina.
