Endaya Cove, Cuenca Batangas

I am really excited to write my experience in Endaya Cove because the place is so nice and I really love Batangas.

Disclaimer: Not a paid blog, just blogging my personal experience.

I highly recommend to message them first in their Facebook page whether you are plaaning on a day tour or an overnight stay because they don't allow walk in customers.

How to get there?

We used our privately own cars and Waze just key in Endaya Cove.

How much does it cost?

There are different rates but here are the list as of June 2017:

Day Tour (4 choices)

1. AM 9AM-2PM (5hrs)- 300/head

2. PM 3PM-8PM (5 hrs)- 300/head

3. FULL DAY 9AM-5PM- 400/head

4. Night Swim 8PM-12MN- 400/head

Plus DAY HUT Charge:

- 800 (poolside) for 12 pax

- 600 for 8 pax (garden side)

They require 50% non-refundable cash, no walk ins, no deposit no reservation.

Kids below 3 y/o are free, between 3-7 y/o at 50%, above 7y/o pay as adult.

You may bring your own food and drinks without corkage fee. If you tend to forget to bring your drinks like us, you may ask for the help of the care taker (of course give the care taker a tip.).

Karaoke rental at 700 for 5 hours or 1,000 pesos for overnight.

There are rooms available for overnight stay. Free entrance and day hut if you book an overnight stay/ room.

Our Balete Road, Batangas Adventure with Dreamland cafe side trip by Unlitravel

Our Balete road adventure was made possible by Unlitravel by Unlimagine, I saw their ad on Facebook and the reviews were good so we've decided to try their services. I will tell you what really happened to us during that day.

We went to the following places:

Marian Orchard

Is perfect for Holy week trips and Pilgrimage. They will soon have stations of the cross. The place is beautiful, it will be more beautiful if they finish the constructions and if the flowers will fully bloom.

Honey House

A honey shop along the way of Balete Road, there are other honey shop along Balete road but this one I think is affiliated with the agency. So what's in the store for us? They have honey (of course) in different jars and bottles, they also have vinegar and also some free taste. :) They will also show you their backyard where the mini bee farm is located.

Cintai Coritos

As soon as we arrived, we head to the lunch buffet area which is included in the package. The ambiance was great, the food and the service was good. Too bad I don't have any photo on the entrance, we don't much have the time to go back on the entrance the property is huge!

Cintai Coritos has a lot to offer from Pre-nups to accommodations to plunging in the pool, I mean you can stay the rest of the day there. For more info you may visit their website.

Dreamland Cafe

After our Balete road exploration we went to Tagaytay as part of the itinerary. Dreamland Cafe is one the restaurants I want to go to in Tagaytay it has a cute interiors, They sell food (of course), clothes and their signature dream catchers.

We went to all places stated in the voucher, we were actually on time, we arrived in Mcdonalds around 6:30am and the call time was 7am but the van was late I don't know exactly how much time was wasted while waiting for the van, I was tired and sleepy that day because I just came home from work to shower and I wasn't able sleep at all. The driver has no sense of direction, he used Waze but I think he is not familiar with the exits in SLEX. He was confused so he decided to stop near an exit which is wrong because SLEX has emergency bays on the left side, he then tried to do backing instead of continuing to the exit because he already knew we weren't suppose to do the exit. When we were caught he pretended that one of the tire was flat. But the guard did not allow us so he didn't have a choice but to exit. Another, he did not take the Magallanes interchange to SLEX instead he took the way down which is time consuming specially they were late. On our way home from Dreamland he kept on stopping by from one store to another we didn't know what's happening he is not talking or saying anything to us, we just realized that he was looking for stores to load his cell for data to use waze. Again, that was time consuming plus the traffic.

The 15 seater van should be 13 tourists only, 2 front seats should be assigned to the on site tour guide only. The driver and the tour guide should be side by side so they can talk and sort problems first on their own, call or text their boss if they needed to.

Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of an on site tour guide so that whenever we have queries we will just ask him, I will forgive that the on site tour guide assigned to us had no idea with 1. The way going to our destination, 2. He and the driver should talk beforehand like I've mentioned earlier.

The Beach Series: Pico De Loro

When you hear the resort name Pico de Loro, what comes to our mind is it is expensive or exclusive only to members.

I've been doing research about this, to find out that some of the condominiums are for rent in a very affordable prices.

My contact here is Ms. Jen 0917500 8077 . She immediately replies to your inquiries.

After you settle the payment you will message her the name/s for the Authorization to use for the condo and Authorization to use for the club registration which you will bring during your stay.

1 bedroom condo costs Php 6,500. Fully furnished (there are available cookwear, untensils, refrigerator, t.v. With local and some additional channels but not much, microwave oven, pitcher, rice cooker, blankets and other stuff). Just bring your own water (the water in the condo is not potable), own food, own towels, shampoo and conditioner, soap, toothpaste and toothbrush.

I think, there are pros and cons if you rent for a condo.

Pros

• You can cook and eat whatever you want except grilled food.

• You may stock a lot of food inside the fridge. The fridge in the condos are in normal size.

• You can make own juice. They have a pitcher available.

• You can save a lot because you may bring your own instead of buying in the convinience store or order in restaurants.

Cons

• Fix your own mess and treat it like it's your own room/condo. Because there are no room service.

• Bring your own blanket even they have provided.

• Bring your own bathroom essentials.

In Pico de Loro they also have a hotel named Pico Sands. I don't know about the rates but you may book thru AGODA

But if you want affordable, rent a condo simply because it can accommodate up to 5-6 persons. If you are going to rent a hotel room it may cost Php8,000 and up but good for 2 persons only.

Sample Ad Update

Let me now start with our experience.

As we entered the premises of Pico de Loro there is a lobby on the right side. You need to stop and pay for the entrance fee of Php1,200/person and also Php1,050 for the mandatory cash card per group/condo. They will also give you a car pass and claim stub of Jello shots valid on that day 9:30pm.

You are all required to go inside the lobby because they will put a wrist band that you need to wear through out your stay.

Give your car pass to the guard upon entering.

The condominium in Pico de Loro has names you can easily find those because you can ask the guards and there are signs.

I apologized, I wasn't able to take pictures of the condo. But here are some photos.

There are 2 king size bed and a sofa. The shower and the toilet is separate. The condo owner provided a pale and a dipper maybe because they don't have bidet.

We rest first and since we still have plenty of time to explore Pico de Loro before our dinner, here are some of my favorite photos:

Please take note that Pico de Loro is very strict. There are allocated spots where you can swim in the beach, I think the reason behind this its because they removed the rocks and sea urchins on that spots. Also, you are not allowed to go to the rocky side of the beach. Do not do what we did. The staff are very strict and they have the right to give you a penalty. The staff there told us they've given their guess on that day, on the very same day a penalty of Php2,500 because they went to the rocky part of the resort. It is strictly prohited to avoid any injury.

You are required to wear proper swimwear if you want to transfer in the swimming pool.

Proper attire

We brought a food (actually that is for our lunch but we ate in some fast food on our way to Pico de Loro, so it end up as our dinner) Barbeque, chicken and also Shanghai and re heat it. And we cooked rice. We also made an iced tea. Rest for a little while then we head to the Beach Club to claim our free Jello shots!

I am very excited to try the Jello shots! You want to know what is it taste like? Mine is the orange Jello Shot, I would be very honest. It is not good, it is a flavored Gelatin with alcohol in it. My friend said (she has the Blue Jello Shot) it taste good, maybe it depends with the flavor of the Gelatin.

We used our Cash Card to order some cocktails (the usual cocktails in bars), mine is Long Island Iced Tea, Lani ordered Mojito Margarita, Czar ordered Piña Colada, Grace ordered Dragon Tail, and Honnah is the only one who ordered "mocktail" named Shirley Temple, because she doesn't drink anything with alcohol. You may reload your Cash Card if you want to and use it for future visit in Pico de Loro.

The next day, we cooked our breakfast (spam and rice). And we ate on the balcony.
