So, this is my first time to write a blog after so many years.
Me and my friends decided to take a trip to Baler but we ended up with Laiya Batangas.
We've decided to start our trip around 5am Feb 19, 2015, from Q.C. To Laiya it is approximately 4-5hrs drive since there is no traffic during that time and also holiday.
We tried beach resort hoping just to get the cheapest price because we have a tight budget. Oh I forgot! We are a group of 5 Php2,000 per head and my treat of Php5,000 for the food.
Okay, after several tries of computing and beach resort hoping we decided to stay in LA LUZ BEACH RESORT. It costs Php4500/6pax with aircon, hot and cold shower, shampoo and soap. Also you have to pay Php1350/pax for mandatory food which includes (breakfast, lunch,pm snack, and dinner) At first we thought that this is an ordinary beach resort in Laiya.
But it is so refreshing. All cabanas are in beachfront .
We stayed in a Cabana that is located in 2nd floor in which you can have the view of the beach by your balcony. Please see photos.
La Luz also offers different activities both for free/rent such as:
-Kayak
-Snorkeling
-Jetski
-Biking
-Board Games (monopoly, scrable, uno, chess)
-Soccer (free)
-Volleyball (free)
-free use of life vest
-maasage
Also, no tv BUT! wifi is free!!! And wait there’s more! The wifi is super fast!!! You can stream!! Isn’t awesome?!
They have nipa huts near the beach which is for free you can play board games or sleep in there.
They also like setting up the buffet near the shore. We are so lucky La Luz also provided a latern to make a wish in celebration of Chinese New Year.

All in all I love the experience! I definitely recommend this resort. :)
P.S. The sand is not that fine it has small rocks but i love it! Pet friendly resort!
