Staycation Compilation: Hyatt City of Dreams Manila

This review is for Hyatt Hotel and a little bit of City of Dreams, February 2015 (things may change, of course).

Let me start from the time we entered the premises of City of Dreams.
So, I feel secured, safe, and important because as you enter COD there are 3 guards who will inspect your car and a K9 bomb sniffing dog

By the way, City of Dreams is fully functional like the casino and some of the restaurants but some are not like the parking, has no fees yet (hooooraaaay!!), I guess the parking will be free if you are checking in the hotel? Hopefully!
Also, they're still working on The Dreamplay which I am so excited about.

My sister with the COD and the very noticeable egg behind. lol.

Can you guess who's inside? Dreamplay's under construction.

We checked in at Hyatt as you can see on the photo below.

     Outside Hyatt

They have a beautiful lobby with soft couches (for the waiting relatives, maybe) and it is spacious, I think it's because they have wing 1 and wing 2.

The only thing I criticize here in Hyatt is the queuing system, I don't have a photo on how the front desk looks like but I will do my best to describe it. So, they have 3 counters with 2 front desk officers on each counters. If you see 3 counters what is your first thinking? Where should I fall in line right? Ofcourse, I went to the counter with no queue at all because that's our nature right? Only to find out,  the queue is in the middle counter and the front desk officer from the left, middle, and right counter will call you if they are already finish with their transaction. I think the only thing they need is the sign LINE STARTS HERE  with the adjustable rope (i dunno what do you call it).

I booked only thru AGODA and I chose Deluxe Twin.

Upon check in you need to deposit an amount of Php5,000. Which you can refund during check out. You need to fill up a form for your newspaper preferences.

When I got into my room this is how it looks.

I really felt that day that I am very important to them. Lol! No kidding!

Here are photos of our room.

We get our bags from the car (in the parking lot of course), it is quite far from the hotel but they will assist you if you need help.

Things that are for free: 2 complimentary mineral water, tea bags, coffees, slippers, bath salt, bath soap, soap, shampoo, conditioner,  toothbrush with toothpaste, I mean all necessary things for an overnight sleep.

Items available in the room like: Iron, vault, cleaning kit for shoes, blower, glasses, fridge with sodas and alcoholic beverages (with sensor), food (additional fee), kettle and lots of hangers ( I truly appreciate it).

You can also ask them if you forgot your deo, shaving cream, razor, etc  and you can borrow curling iron for hair, steamer and etc. Just call 0.

You can also borrow: curling iron, electric razor, and etc.

The swimming pool! Oh God, I almost forgot! The Infinity Pool is amazing!

Here's a photo of the pool during daylight.

It looks simple but I like it. The on the farthest is Nobu's pool. This view is from the hallway near the elevator.

Here's a photo of the pool during night time.

Maybe you are wondering why am I wearing a cover-up? Oh it is because it is freezing cold! So I've decided to just stay in the Jacuzzi. Yes yes you read it right.

Hyatt, Nobu, and Crown Towers has different pools and each pools has gate with lock, you need a keycard to pass Nobu or Crown Towers. We tried to look at the other pools guess what?! The lock isn't activated yet! Yehey!

Nobu has infinity pool also with a restaurant/ bar on the side.

Crown Towers has a simple pool than the other two. And it is a little bit crowded.

They have towels available on the poolside you don't have to wet your room towel and the pool opens 6am and closes 8pm.

I didn't get a chance to try the fitness center :(

This will greet you around 6am in the morning, a newspaper hanging in your door knob. ;)

Upon check out, we have bags right? I told the front desk that we have baggage and I need their help to carry those (check out baggage is much heavier, you think?) because the parking is quite far. So they arrange a shuttle service for us ( for free). 😉

I will definitely go back here, I like their service, the room and most of all the jacuzzi! But I will try those two soon!
