Pasig Kapitolyo: Cafe Juanita

Here's a quick review for Cafe Juanita Pasig Kapitolyo.

Cafe Juanita and Breakfast @ Juanita has the same owner so the interior is also the same. You mean same same? Yes yes! Same chandelier, colorful resto, crystals, lots of stuff and all.

Unfortunately, the best spots are already reserved! (Sigh). So my tips for you are: (1) Get a reservation to have the best spot in the resto. And (2) If you are a walk in customer pick the best spot even if it is reserve, just ask the staff what time will the reservation start. Because they let us choose if we want on the reserved table because the customer will be arriving at around 8:30pm, if they arrived at 8:30pm we can transfer on other table or pick a table down stairs. We chose to eat downstairs. With not so much picture perfect spot. (Sad).

Let me start with my review.

Food

We ordered Kare-Kare and Sisig with Tofu.

    Kare-Kare and Bagoong

     Sisig with tofu

Kare-Kare is their best seller and it cost Php619 it is for 2-3 persons only. I like the consistency of the sauce and how soft the ox tripe or twalya is. There are puso ng saging, pechay, beef, and eggplant.
Do not miss the bagoong! Oh gosh super yummy!

Well, as for the Sisig. I' m not a fan of Tofu. But my friends mix the sisig and the tofu and I don't like it. :(

One cup of rice cost Php85!

I will rate the value for money 3 out of 5.

Restaurant Cleanliness

I like the cleanliness of Cafe Juanita inside the resto, with all those stuff? How can they make sure the resto is clean? And also the restroom same very clean with soap and tissue available.

Ambiance

Did I mention that there is a pianist? He played since we entered Cafe Juanita and as we leave (endurance baby). I really like the live piano. It feels so relaxing.

Service

The staff are very approachable and also reliable because when they say the food is good for 2-3 persons it is really 2-3 persons!! Very accurate right? They automatically refill your glass with water.

Concept

Cafe Juanita has different cuisines to choose from Mexican, Filipino, and Mediterranean cuisine.

But I think Cafe Juanita is more of a Thai? Becuase of the Buddha in the middle of the resto plus the cloth hanging on the ceiling is so colorful.

I will go back here but not so soon to try more of their specialties.
